Contact me before your launch. Duh. But not too much before. A week is about right. Two, if you’re Google, Facebook, Microsoft, or Apple.

    How long before a trade show do you recommend contacting you (or other reporters) to set up an in-person meeting?

    this is actually one of the best tips you’ve put out — timing is hard to gauge writer to writer. so you’ll be hearing from me on Jan. 6th FYI :)
