Study your target. How hard is it to read his/her stuff before you pitch?

Just to be clear, Tip #10 comes from the rare interview (today) with someone what clearly had read my recent posts.

  1. Every briefing sheet should have some sample articles and the spokesmodel should know your stuff. I wonder if the reverse is true – reporter checking out the Web site and recent press?
