Tip #173: Modernize your business cards

If you’re pitching a mobile product (and who isn’t?), keep in mind that journalists are highly mobile users, too. Make it easy for them to check out whatever it is you’re selling. Put a QR code with a link to the site or the app download on your business card.

  1. The QR code pictured on that business card is too small for inferior camera phones (e.g. Blackberry, iPhone 3GS, etc.) to read. The minimum QR code size should be 1″x1″, and it may be larger depending how much data you stuff in it. Always test with inferior camera phones to be certain.

  3. Very nice card, but it is true that the code is a little small. Great idea though.
